Today's post is going to be about IU 3rd Album Special Edition.

Well...I just got it today, and she has a really nice vocal tone so..let's start!

First off, is the poster up top as you can see...cuteeee hmm? ^^

Next comes are the small thumbnail-sized photos of herself

1) top-left is the REAL/IU 3rd Album image where she portrays herself more mature,

2) bottom-right is her debut album, Marshmallow. She is in her 'growing-up' stage per-se.

New Addiction - K-Drama

This is one drama that I'm very much into, and also is looking forward to Season 2 as well.

I've never really been so hyped about K-Drama even though it's ingrained in my culture,

but this one...I just had to haha. I love music, and yes I love this drama. ^_^

Yes, that anime is like, the new "haruhi" with more action in it. Much more action. xD

1) For dinner, me and 2 of my cousins ate chicken wings +4 shots of vodka + signature fries and onion chips. Even though it kinda blew me away from my diet, it was worth the visit since the food was sooooooooo goooooooodddd (not good for my health, but I mean...it wouldn't be that bad once in a while right?).....the restaurant was "St. Louis" which was more popular on their Ribs not Wings. Oh wells, it was good anyway~

2) After dinner, we all went to the Bowling Alley, and in the end I scored the highest (but I bowl much different than the ordinary form of hitting the pin...you just have to see it @_@) and I actually got a strike for once! Oh yeah. 2 more shots of vodka here too. ^^

3) We all came back home, now I'm updating my blog...and I feel bloated.....maybe the food was way too salty that I thought it would be. I mean, I did realize that most Canadian restaurants serving food are mostly either 'salty' or has way too much sugar in it (depends on what you eat, but most items are...) Let's say you eat at a restaurant and once you arrive home, you feel amazingly thirsty.....and chug down water. After a few minutes the satisfaction turns into stomach bloating, which I absolutely hate . I seriously have to get that fixed...and yeah. No more wings for me for a whilllllle. ^^

4) From the last update, I told you guys that my CPU was AMD Athlon II X3 right? Well, I upgraded my CPU from there, to a much more significant speed and performance increase of:

AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition - 3.4GHz Quad-Core. Overclocked to 3.7GHz and I'm happy ^^

5) Arizona Green Tea with Ginseng and Honey are my new love for the past few months, since it's actually a drink that helps you digest with real 100% ginseng and honey extracts. Also, it has many antioxidants which are WAY better than Nestea, Coke, or even Sprite or 7 Up in that matter. Big, cheap, and good for your health. I haven't heard much of negative aspects of this bottle which I have a 24-box set bought from T&T at 20 bucks straight.

See, this is what I call a relaxing drink of love. Pretty low calories + sugar intake, with cardio..this drink is amazing. ^^

The best christmas I'll ever have with all that xD

I've also been going to the gym in a constant schedule, and I'm actually looking much better than high school years. It won't be too long until I turn slim (not as slim as Kenn or Weej, but...still =P)

Also I've been listening to a lot of radio, so I understand mainstream music (Far East Movement's "Like a G6" is one =P) as well as rock, metal, etc.

Since I got the HDD storage, I might go back to watching Anime again but.....

school is starting in January, so I don't know how much time I would have x_x

There's just way too much games to play at the moment, and I'm pretty swarmed at it.

StarCraft II : Definitely still trying to finish campaign. Which takes up most of my time. I've completed quite a portion of the game, but man.....I totally did not expect for Jim Raynor to be the main character for the Terran forces. Let alone Kerrigan being the queen of Zerg for that matter. As a veteran player of SC 1, and as a fan of the game from ages ago, I'm really enjoying this game more than anything as of now.

MMORPG : Well, this one's a bummer. I'm on and off from time to time, and not really going to bother much about it. Atlantica Online is one, Mabinogi is two, third one... I'll just pass this one.

Assassin's Creed II : I know, I know. It's kinda old, but still. Pretty good story/plot so far. Those who played Assassin's Creed I, should know the storyline of it. Except this one is a bit more difficult than the first one. As for me it is at least. xD

Forza 3: My friend still has my game and I'd probably play once he's done with it but...oh wells. Good ol' racing game for the X360. One of the best so far. My favourite type of car is definitely Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 V-Spec II (Nur spec, or MINE's either way). Those who are deeply interested into racing, and want to pedal to the floor on an any stress-given day, go for it. It will take your stress away!

Blazblue: Continuum Shift - Now THIS is what I'm talkin' about in terms of fighting games for XBOX 360 that I have. It has improved from before, different variety of characters and such. You have to practice like any other fighting games to truly master, but since each and every character's move and techniques are very different, you have to choose one and start, to hone your skills at it. Lot of patience is required. It came out like 2 days ago.

So, all of these games cramming down, and work is going smoothly, I don't really know what else to spend time with....aaaand here's update #2!

Life Updates

1) Gym - it's going pretty good lately, even though I've been on 2 buffets like, on Day 1 and Day 3 this week, (twice in 3 days).....I still haven't gained much weight. Only maybe like a pound since I measured an hour ago at the gym. It's going pretty good!

2) Work - Monday to Friday, data entry. I love my job. xD
Good pay, Good hours and my oh my, I can still play games and finish the daily quota, thanks to my typing speed..=P

3) School - Will return back on January. So I have time. ^^

If I say that I was enjoying a nice sunny weather in Toronto here, I would be lying.

But at the same time, if I say that I hated the burning scorching sun out there, I would also be lying.

Yep, I was enjoying the scorching hot weather with a nice cool a/c inside my car.

The day started out as me & my mom walked out of the doorsteps, we hardly could breathe. And tell you what folks, 44'C weather is not. NOT something to be enjoyed at. So we rushed into the car, opened up the car door.....and...

Went downtown after, got some ice-cold Arizona green tea, and unfortunately, downtown was crowded than I thought. Here's why:

Well, this is how the trip began...with a nice cozy A/C inside the car, took a picture going into downtown. Not a lot of cars were present, and I loved the scenery even though it was a usual sight for living here for 10+ years e_e"

And I thought the G20 Summit was over with a burning police car...when I passed by the exact same location, the same looking police car was parked and was managing the road traffic since it had been barricaded for some fundraising stuff that I don't really know about... which are the photos below:

Not sure what the whole block-the-road event was so special about....since my mom had to take care of her business around the area nearby, it took her more than 30 minutes to bypass and find a new route which the GPS couldn't find since we were moving way too slow for the system to pick up the singal of...so getting all tired of finishing my own business and my mom's, I took the subway back home, while she went back and we met at midpoint in which it wasn't really that great..

Anyways, more updates coming up later, hopefully I won't be melted by the heatwave tomorrow..hopefully... e_e

Alrighty, so welcome back to Q.R. where randomness meets with halfass-retired Otaku + ? = still random.

Anyways, it's been a while since I've updated my blog with new materials.....trust me, I've been busy doing:

3) Camping

It's been ages since I've posted here...forgot how to do until I copypasta'd photobucket's link e_e".....Well, here it is, me & my friends before leaving the campsite.

It was pretty awesome I tell you, partying with mosquitoes and quarreling with where to sleep, etc. etc. We brought too much food, so each of us gained a few pounds...time to hit the gym again!

4) Gundam-Models

Yes folks, I purchased one today since I was completely bored at home. At least this will keep me company for a couple of hours. Unfortunately, I don't have the ability to paint my gundam with brush and all....so all I'd really do is put them on display as is, once finished.

7) Other Stuffs

Referring to: This and This <- Was going to be Kenn's post, but I was unable to find it...

And.....YES folks, I FINALLY, FINALLY got my sunglasses. It's actually pretty expensive, so I only wear it whenever I need it. Brand is by POLICE (Beckham's the model o-o). I was going to purchase one that's much cheaper, but my mom refused as, "Your eyesights will get damaged if you don't wear proper sunglasses" so, I paid half, and she paid half. Good stuffs.

This was for our lunch of 5. Our parent's business finished designing and putting the architecture of its logo, and it took like...4-5 hours (started in the morning), and finished it lunchtime. Since we were all hungry, and had nothing to really eat, we ate at our client's (well, my mom knows the owner very well, so it was more of a service discount). He makes one of the best sushis in Markham. ^^

I actually brought this to the campsite:

My cousin and my friend Andrew. Yep, these cups were used as Hot Chocolate cups. =P

Except I don't have much time updating because by the time Phase 4, I'm already completely out of energy already, so most of the time I just pass out to bed.

I'll be updating about AN 2010 shortly and its aftermath Staff party (which will be coming up soon) altogether, so....sorry for not updating so much >_<

Sorry I had to make this pic a big one, but I took this with my cellphone. I didn't realize the weather was this great and the photo came out marvelously. It was just a piece of artwork...that I never took like this before.

This is the lunch that I had in a place called "Golden Star", homemade (fresh cut) home fries with Steak Burger (yes, Steak burger, not one of those junk food fatty burgers). This is actually a delicacy with unlimited refill with a nice lemonade with it. For the price, it's worth it, since it filled my tummy up in lunch for a long time. =)

Now, I'm still waiting for my cousin to get my ride back so we can go to the gym...and talking with Weej and Kenn to see what they're upto. xD

Alrighty, welcome back to Quiet Reminsence, where you can interact and view what Teekay has been upto for the past few days.

Basically, it was just Work + Gym + Gaming. Yes, Gaming whenever I have spare time, and since I have 2 days off from work, hooray more gaming and resting while I relax my legs for standing 7-8 hours straight.

So, following my previous update (you can click on the old updates below), here are some photo updates as well. Here goes~!

The weather was pretty good back about 2-3 days ago (it's pouring heavy rain out there right now, and I really don't want to go to the gym either e_e") and that's the Environment of Canada. It's just opposite to where I am working.

Since my friend got me a $20 Gift Card for my Birthday a while back, I decided to use since I had to go out for my parent's business. So, I walked inside Indigo bookstore, and instead of trying to get my eyes on Mangas, I got this; The Complete Snoopy Colllection, Vol. 1 (Is it vol. 1? I'm not exactly sure, since it's in a chronological yearly order). It is of a brand new, wrapped comic collection that I really love reading it while I'm in the bathtub taking a bath. ^^

People thought I was joking. When I actually said I was going to purchase this interesting gadget (more of a cup, but still I call it an interesting "gadget") I actually meant it. Yes, I finally got my Ctrl+Alt+Del cup arrived at my house.

As you already know, these are actual ceramic cups you can use, which I took another picture to prove that I wasn't bullshitting from the beginning. Yes, these can make great cups if you want to take a piece of mind off the gutter whenever your trying to deal with life status and all. Just have a nice lil' cup of tea on the Del button or the rest to saviour the moments of freedom if you haven't.

The bottom design was actually pretty interesting as well, since it is a microelectric wiring design which suits well with the cups above. I was pretty impressed at the fact that these cups even though they were ordered in eBay China, it was actually durable and pretty sturdy when you actually drink something with it. Orange juice with this definitely does give a nice piece of mind off life....hopefully once in a while. ^^"

Alright guys, so let's cut the crap, and get into some serious business.

A long time ago, (about 1-2 years ago?) Me, and Kenn + My friend Firo all were co-hosts of "RadioTK" (well, yes I was the original idealist/DJ and server owner) that maintained a fun Anime-based radio that played mostly Japanese Anime tunes as well as K-Pop and some C-Pop.

After I graduated from High School, and after we all went our own ways, Kenn becoming a professional music composition student (or is progressing through well), and Firo becoming a chef of a hotel.

I was too busy fed up with life and work, so I didn't have time to restart....even though I did miss the fact that we stopped unanimously at some point in life. And now, recently Firo had messaged me on msn to restart the radio again.

Instead, this time we came up with a new name, and I didn't want to put my name as a Radio slogan because it's not only me and solely myself operating the radio station. It should have been a name that we all should be proud of, and represents of, not only me. Therefore, after a few discussion on naming it, we made it

Left4Radio

Yeah, you can call it like a tribute or whatever, but we all left the radio, and came back. We missed the radio, and also. We wanted to attack and kill new genres and make up with what we had been lost (something like L4D Scenario), so we came up with that name!

Not only it will be commencing with animes only, but it contains a list of music topics:

Today's Update!

Ok, so a few pics will be accompanied by this update. Here goes!!

The weather was just beautiful. So I decided to take a shot of the grass....or kinda. well, w/e pathway. It was a nice clear sky at around 1pm.

It was actually pretty interesting to see those yellow construction support pipes. First time ever I saw those, and it was quite an "architecture" if you want to put it that way.....

Those who live in T.O. should know this place. Yes. it's Yorkdale Mall. I went there to purchase sunglasses and maybe T-Shirts and most importantly..... pants since the one I'm wearing now and the ones I have are kinda big now..

This is the subway from outside, not the closed basement style, but it's open. Nice sunny weather until it started to rain later. A shot like this, I actually like the railway.

This is the road coming back home, and the sky started to become dark. These trees were pretty huge, and walking alone even on a daylight is kinda..scary. imagine these huge trees just "starring" at you if you know what I mean. Yeah..you have to walk this path....I can't really explain it in words.

These pants are pretty thin, and it's purpose is for the upcoming summer. It will definitely be hot, since it has been pretty hot recently, and it's lighter + thinner. My reduced waist size complimented the pants well. (Or the other way around, I know SOMEONE will be correcting this.)

I came back home briefly, then went to Korean BBQ buffet with my friend, and played some arcade, then finally I'm home now...pretty tired, don't wanna do anything.

Work starts later in the afternoon, so I'm pretty good.

But my mom kinda took it away, so I'm really not in the liberty to speak of quantity. However, I'm still happy that I can get some portion of. ^^ I like the pay, since I earn what I work for. Anime North should definitely be not much of a problem in purchasing products. Yay. =P

I'm considering to play World of Warcraft.
remember, it's CONSIDERING. After the entire hype from Ragnarok Online, I really don't know if I have the liberty to play for hours everyday. Also, I have summer time without school, so what am I going to do with the rest? Gaming perhaps. lol xD

Work Update!

Alrighty, so welcome back to my blog, as I'm going to be updating from both my house, and work computer.

Things have been going smoothly, I haven't seen any customers even now..looking at the surveillance camera (CCTV) I don't see any entering or wondering outside. Also, I've got the first two grades out of total three courses that I took from 2009-2010, and I'm pretty satisfied.

Not completely on asian standards, but I'm still happy with anything ranging from B- to A-. The only course that is important to fill up my GED (since I changed my major, it's a completely different story), is not up yet...which should be coming up sooner or later.

A customer....just came in, well not really. It was one of the security camera rep that the manager is taking care of. I'm pretty free for now...so all I can do is youtube, blog and msn (which in usual work ethics it shouldn't be done, but he doesn't give a fuck about xD)

As soon as I get my paycheque, I'll be looking at a portable media player which I will stick all my new 2010 Animes in, and watch it there...since I don't really want to watch it in my laptop. =P

Work Work...? Okie Dokie..

Ok, so as the work progresses, there's really nothing much going on. As soon as the customer comes in, greet him/her, ask him/her what he/she wants. And then, voila! You sell it. Oh btw, did I mention that I'm updating my blog in the work computer right now as I'm working? =P

But aside of all this work, I'm still not really too sure if I'm doing the right thing or not.

I mean, ok, I work, I get paid. That's great. But there's still something in my mind that's still making me nervous.

Realized it by now? Yes. Marks. I haven't received them except one.

Even if I'm working, I still don't know if the marks had been updated into the registrar system, and if they had been, every time I go on my university website, it still makes me nervous. Even if I did try my best on the exam, I still have the option of not getting good marks anyway. Worst thing can happen is failing the course, which didn't really happen to me before...but since this course is hard as a Brock(?)...it can happen. So the whole process of checking my marks, just gets my entire mind on a nerve breakdown...and I worry a lot. I mean it. A Lot.

How I feel right now....I don't know. It's just that a crime has happened, and it's not me as a culprit, but it feels like as if I did it. I don't even know how to explain this feeling of nervousness that most students go through. I know it's not just me, but what's getting me...

Yikes...

I just got a call at the store phone, that the manager is coming in soon. He was out before, apparently to return the RMA (Return defect products to the HQ).

Gotta go people...I hope I get my marks ok.....T_T...see you guys soon, and hope me to get my marks ok...

First day of Work~

Alright, welcome back to Quiet Reminiscence, I'm Teekay over here and........yeah.

So, today was my first day of work, and a long return after exams on all the stuffs I've been going through. It was as hectic as it can be, ranging from exams, to sign business help, to house chores, and going around here and there...blahblah. A lot of stuffs happened.

Well, I have to stand for 7 hours, and work my @$$ off both as a computer tech, and an in-store sales associate.

It's not really that bad, since there's about 1-2 customers every hour or so.

But for the pay that's like, around $11/hr, it's not bad at all...and the manager's actually pretty lenient on whatever I do.

There's really nothing typical about it, and yeah......

Btw, school marks haven't been up yet, but it'll be available sooner or later during the times of april and may.....I hope I get good marks....otherwise....>_> I'll end up like Kenn rather than ending up like Weej (and yeah that's not a sarcasm, considering his marks are pretty high up there e_e)

Also, I've been starting to play Magic: The Gathering again, with Vintage deck (Type 1), and nothing else much went on.

I'm also planning on getting a new PMP (portable media player) which will allow me to play videos on a 4.8" widescreen on-the-go. Pricey it seems, and that's where my work kicks in.

I got a job! Got hired as an In-Store Sales Associate + Computer Technician, and the wage is pretty good. ^^

Alright guys, since there's really nothing else I can update my blog with nowadays, due to the fact that I've been swarmed by about 3-4 essays that are 8-pages long, and final exams coming up.

Great. it's raining with a pretty chilly (snowy) weather coming up, so this is the only song that pretty much I can listen to so I can get some energy. It's such a nice song. Catchy too.

It's a pretty nice pop Billboard-chart blowing song nowadays that almost everyone loves. Enjoy!

Ok, so I got up from the bed at around 10:30am, while my cousin and nephew are enjoying their march break.

Got our lunch like usual, and left for the bus to go to today's lecture.

Got on the bus, but it was pretty packed so I had to grab the very last pole to sustain myself from the bus swinging from side to side (there are several turns that the bus makes, so it's pretty swing-y) and almost on the destination, the bus started honking constantly which the female driver didn't know how to resolve that problem. As I was listening to my mp3 walkman, I didn't realize that the electronic control board where the driver operates to open and close doors, were malfunctioning.

When we tried to get off the bus, the door wasn't able to open, so the driver instructed me to open the VIVA bus manually. At first I thought she was directing someone else, until everybody inside the bus was looking at me, where I unplugged my earphones and started to perform manual door opening with the driver's instruction.

I broke off the handle knob at the top middle of the door (which was covered in plastic that I broke so hard that students inside the bus were startled by) and used my arms to push the door open. And of course, walked to my lecture hall. Gee, who would've thought that I'd be the one opening the door out of everyone else? xD Pretty neat event(?) I guess...incident? whichever. It's not like you'd ever get to have a chance to manually break the knob to open the door anyway =P

Nothing interesting other than that happened today, including a set of questionnaires that we had to answer by the prof in our Social Science class. It was about your attitude towards ~~garbage~~ politics/politicians. These are what I wrote as far as I remember:

Alrighty, so instead of having a march break for me, since I'm not in High School, I'm pretty much stuck with the regular schedules that is going to take most of my time reading, writing, gaming, and photoshooting. o_o

So, here are the photos that I took, and I'll elaborate my daily life updates from there.

Ok so, first off the first pic of the day is this.

As you can see, the field is pretty empty, as it is outside our main university campus.

Many trees are there, and it somehow calms me down whenever I see it, so I took a cap of. xD

This is the piano from the music practice room. I heard that you need to get an authorized key for the room to freely use under your permission, but I just took an empty room and started jammin' in my own way. Nobody cares, not even the head office. o_o (at least that's what my friend told me lol) so that's the upright Yamaha, kinda better than mine at home in terms of the touch.... it's much better than I thought.

This is from the Music Audition room, which is much bigger than the practice room.

I'm pretty sure this room is only authorized for those who are auditioning for the RCM-ARCTs, and whatnot including vocals, jazz, and whatnot piano tests going around in the area. I would SO LOVE to play that there, but I was too afraid of getting caught by admin staffs, so I just took a shot and then left.

It's from one of the hallways of my tutorial room, it's all made out of different types of balls (yes, don't take this the dirty way e_e) it clearly is a resemblance of a puppy, made by the art students. =P

This place is called 'Pacific Mall', the most Chinese-oriented town in Markham, filled with many different stores that catches your eye (or probably going to spend a hell-lotta money on this place) make sure if your this person -> DO NOT go there 'cause you'll spend money. xD

....And I went to the second floor arcade, and totally fluked/jinxed that out. I wasn't wearing the proper footwear, wasn't wearing the proper DDR clothes, so I was pretty much half-assing it with almost barely minimum freestyle since the arcade machine's pad does not stay strong to the floor and it slides everytime I move (no I'm not THAT heavy to move =_=)

Also, I purchased some accessories while I was in Pacific Mall. These two mushrooms are going to be held in my car (Mitsubishi Lancer) and it'll shine my day everytime I ride the car with these folks. Pretty cool don't you think?

I was also tempted to buy a Domo plushie to put it at the back of my car, but...meh, just didn't like it. =P

Btw, my wireless N-lan adapter is coming soon, since my laptop wireless adapter is almost completely broken down (yes, that means even updating my blog like now, took me more than 30 mins to upload the pic and sort it out =_=) I hope that gets shipped soon. IT BETTER.

Alrighty, so welcome back to the updates that I haven't had for a while.

It's been a pretty hectic/busy schedule lately....

I started doing my essay assignment at 11pm, overnighted up until 6am, slept, then woke up at 12 noon o_o then continued doing my assignment until 3-4pm then mailed it out to my Prof using Canada Post's Priority Next Day A.M. service that they claim to be the fastest domestic delivery on-time with signature and all that blahblah yeah. >_>

Anyways, being all deprived of sleep and lack of energy, I couldn't really stand without a nap that I wanted to tak rightaway, but sadly I had to help out my parent's sign business with this and that. So at around 6pm me and my cousin walked to the gym, had some serious running, treadmill, and cycling then being all COMPLETE knockdown (almost) I'm finally home and updating my blog right now.

Somehow, I did more than how I usually ran in my gym exercises, 'cause for some odd reason I was more hyper and energetic that it shouldn't really be like that. xD

Yes people, this is my cheatsheet for my Law course midterm.

It's all smudged up since it was like a month ago and I got the report back

which aren't bad at all at the score of B+ to A- in between. lol

This is what I munch on after coming back from the gym. Cashew nuts.

Unsalted and roasted. Good for your health since it pertains oleic acid that

is a part of the olive oil that contains monounsaturated fat that controls your

blood level HDL and LDL to be as safe as possible. It does have high calories though

so I'd be better off just having them like, about 5-10 a day to maintain a healthy diet.

After coming back from the gym at night, walking along I found this neat feature

on my cellphone camera that allocates shutter speed change, so I tried a few

shots that would slide the lights by setting the shutter speed lower than normal.

Pretty cool don't you think?

The symmetrical position of the gym where I go to, gives me a nice distant

photo image that I took when there were not much people inside the gym.

The symmetrical point of view makes it like your going to fall down any minute. xD

I like these types of photos that gives you some sort of illusion if that's how

I describe it right.....=P

I've decided to walk around Home Depot and take some clear, crisp photos.

This was about 2 weeks ago (maybe more o_o) that I haven't really had time

to update these since I've been amazingly busy piled up essays and assignments

to finish up of... e_e so here we go!

I like how most of the photos like these came out crisp and clear,

just like how I would take photos with my 12.1MP Nikon CoolPix ^^

Also, the details are high once the light blends well with the photo.

The details for the photos here are very clear, and it amazes me

on how such a small camera lens can pick up so detailed of many objects

with different colours. =P

This one is also many different details blended well together, without the need

of blurryness or unwanted dead pixels all over the place.

Now it works perfectly fine, and I won't be uploading the pictures of Windows 7

since that'll make this post about 1.5x longer than it is right now.

just didn't want to make it heavier than it is now)

I personally like it because most of the photos came out well, I still need to

Somehow Glenn Gould played it amazingly..however, I personally think that it should be more relaxed, not as fast as this...I don't know. 'cause it really shouldn't be this fast. I have another version which is more slower and tense. Adagios played well, and the rest...is just amazing. Just don't like the speed that's all haha..

OK, SINCE it's past 12 (midnight at Toronto time), it seemed like a pretty hectic day today..

well, first of all:

1) Woke up at 9am, went back to sleep again at like, 11am o_o

2) Woke up at 11:30, took a shower, got prepared, and all that morning crap,

3) Went to my friend's house at 12...

= Anime Convention meeting held, went/back to friend's house + my house, etc. =

I'm finally at the Anime convention staff list! YEAH! XD

And then....

4) Drove to my friend's house to watch a movie,

5) All my friends got on my car,

6) Went to the movie threatre, watched a movie

7) Played some ITG (DDR? but no it's ITG Ver. 3 xD)

8) Came back home. =P

I didn't take any pics so....I guess it was a pretty hectic day since I drove all day, and haven't ate since the convention meeting so....it was pretty busy alright @_@

It's from a brand called "SOBE" and it has various different nutritional (?) drinks which are pretty good for your health. It doesn't contain as many calories as (nowhere even near close) to Coke or Soda-Pop, but it's more like a real fruit juice (concentrated).
This is what I had before my sickness had been severe, and will discuss about this later on the post.

Don't you just love how the trees all lined up together, to create a symmetric feeling on the photo? It's actually from my way coming back home. As an amateur photographer (nowhere near close to the skills that Weej has) I thought it was a good photo to take with my cellphone, so here it is! Symmetrical tree photo. xD

It seems as if the road was endless, and since there were no cars on the neighbourhood road, I took a photo of the area that would be pretty cool to view as a photo. Not much snow, (but from yesterday and even today, there were PILE-UPS of snow, no joke).

This is also the new headphones that I've ordered and arrived, called:

SImply loving these. These also work as ear muffs outside whenever I'm freezing in the cold. It's not as heavy as the ones I've had before the ATH-PRO700 series. However, the headphones are meant to be used indoors, so I'd probably use Super.Fi 5 Pro's more than this outside. xD

I've been pretty damn sick lately with these symptoms:

- Mild fever

- Runny + Stuffy nose at times

- Coughing (dry, with blood sometimes)

- Energyless, drowsiness

- Soar Throat that whenever I sneeze, it's so damn PAINFUL T_T

Since it's friday, I'm going to stay home all day without going to the arcade, or drifting my car in the snow. I'm not really in condition to do those activities either. Maybe when my symptoms are gone after a while then probably but otherwise....time to sleep. This is how it looked like today afternoon. It's the view from Vari Hall ground level

from York University. Snows everywhere, I know.

It sure was a rainy muddy snow it practically felt like crap...>_>

Even though there were piles of snow here and there, walking around is..

...not fun compared to walking on a 'light snow'. (not muddy)

Road coming back home, walking is better here since the salt has melted and

the pedestrian path had been pretty clear. Although, the salt..gives a bad feeling

whenever you try to walk to it.....

This is pretty much how it looked like, but it's better since this area practically

had no salt since it had melted all the snow away. Many people walk around

this path so it was better to walk.

It's the usual entry where nothing much happened (other than the fact that I eventually thought of taking pictures of the path that I take and upload it here. xD)

I don't usually update if there's really nothing interesting going on, so bear with me if there's minimal to no activity during university life of teekay. =P

3 Days Without My Laptop..^_^ (Read More)

Alrighty, so welcome again to QR, where life meets anime. (or whichever way works to you. xD)

Today's a pretty special day, where I've sent my laptop to a Chinese repair shop to fix my laptop screen.

Here was the situation that I've been using it all along until today:

1) Laptop screen was broke about 1-2 years ago. Not that the actual screen broke, but the hinge that connects the laptop to the base-motherboard is broke, and the hinge has broke off from the base plastic to hold whenever I open and close the LCD display screen.

2) I've browsed and visited around multiple different laptop repair centres and most of the technicians told me that it could not be fixed due to the fact of either: A) it's not fixable since they don't have the skills for it OR B) too expensive, so rather why not I just get a new one. (Around $300 + at least).

Obviously being in a tight budget, I didn't choose either of them. Instead, I purchased an external desktop monitor that could be connected to the laptop. So basically I've been using my 'broken' laptop with the external monitor (hence why I use the term "desktop substitute" most of the time when I refer to my computer-laptop in my room).

I kept on thinking, is this really not fixable? And researched it online today, and went to the store. The technician who was able to repair my laptop screen, I was very surprised and astonished by the fact that it can be done. Regardless of the price (which I asked at the very end of the discussion with him), I was very impressed that he was a certified professional technician who could fix, and told him to initiate the fixing process.

Therefore, if I do get it fixed in about 2-3 business days (which is, probably going to be either next Tuesday or next Wednesday) then I'd definitely love for it to see. Here are the advantages of getting it fixed:

1) Dual-Monitor Display
- That is, I have my external 20" widescreen LCD monitor with 15.4" widescreen altogether working for a multi-session (Gaming, watching videos, and working on my homework)

2) Portability
- What's the reason for having a laptop? For the most obvious reasons it's to carry it around in university campus to jot down lecture notes and preparing assignments/presentations whatsoever that is necessary to complete. This is the biggest factor that I've been waiting. There are other reasons too, but I won't mention it. I also need it to prepare Anime North

3) Windows 7 Upgrade
- This is one of the things that I really wanted to upgrade from having Windows XP SP2 for a heck long of a time (Not even SP3, I know). In order to upgrade and install it from the DOS mode, it is inevitable to have the monitor available to display the DOS mode screen, in which the external monitor can only display Windows once it boots up, and all there rest BIOS-Setup, or CMOS or even basic MS-DOS Command Prompt could not be displayed. With this, I can finally clean up my HDD and organize (clean some registry + junk files). Afterall, reinstalling windows and formatting your HDD once in a while is not bad at all for the performance and saving HDD some space. <3

There are definitely other reasons too, but this is as long as it gets fixed and I hope that it will be done. Chinese technican where I brought my laptop to said he can do it, and will do it. Guaranteed. But is it really? we'll see in a couple days later.

Singles Awareness Day

Alright folks, that's our crew for our Singles Awareness Day.

We were all "shingles" (yes with quotation marks. Shingles. :] ), so we gathered up at Matt's house to play some pool, LAN game and XBOX 360 altogether with some great food that Matt's parents made us. Love the food, love the games, and after all, we're all singles. I guess that explains a lot why we all partied at his place in such a great big house to watch Olympics as well. GO TEAM KOREA AND TEAM CANADA! XD

It was such a great day where all of our acquaintance gathered together at Matt's house (2nd on the left) where Mike (left) had pretty much dominated us in the whole entire pool game. All the rest of us including me, sucked at pool.

We had TEAM MIKE (Mike O, Mike N, Mike P - yes, last names all in order of alphabet. No joke, it's just a coincidence)

And TEAM BOBBY (Andrew, Matt and Robert) were in a 3 vs 3 match tournament style, where we had to pick either Solids or Stripes. Unfortunately, our team lost 'cause (MO and MP - we) sucked at pool so much that we felt like as if we were playing a 5 vs 1 game. However, Mike N was killing it by scoring 3 consecutive shots clearly and with precision. I'm never going to ask why he's so good at pool. With the long stick of course. Literally, He practically faced against the entire team while we scored our own goals, or had a scratch on the 8-ball for our team to lose. e_e I seriously have to practice my Pool skills sooner or later.

Korean New Year + Family Day

This is where I don't have much pictures to share like him however, I did get around $70 (maybe more? maybe less? who knows xD) in just plain money by hand that I shoved it in my bank. I'm not spending that. (Although I did go to the arcade with friends after to blow $10 for a horse racing. No sorry guys, I'm no ballin' gambler. Each game is only 25 cents times how many coins you put in there. You can't cash out the coins either, it's only for arcade machine use. If you could cash out to earn money, then it's obviously gambling. However, you use those coins to enjoy the games and take out stress + have fun with friends, so technically it's not gambling. =P

That's pretty much what happened today and more to come (with video to be uploaded, but I'm too lazy e_e)

Alrighty, so nothing much really happened today, except I went to the arcade after, and had some fun since reading week started this week (well it starts next week with Family Day and all..)

but here it is! Today's dinner in another Pho restaurant, which seems to be way higher of a quality than the one I've tried before. It seems to be a bit more expensive though since it's a formal restaurant, not just some cheapass place like the one from before.

It tasted much better may I tell you....just look at the quality of the food in the pictures in this one, and the ones I've posted below. That'll explain to ya. =p

Alrighty, so welcome to my first day of the starting week for today's entry!

Today, I thought I was going to be totally knocked down to bed because I cannot perform my daily activities when I am deprived of sleep. That is to say, if I sleep less than 7~8 hours at least then it totally breaks down my performance level down to minimal. Strangely, this is how it went.

Slept at 3-4am yesterday studying for midterms
Woke up at 9:30am to get ready for school
Reviewed some notes, went for academic advising with a prof
Came back home at about 11:30am just went straight to bed,
I couldn't sleep since it was lunch time and I suggested to go to a Vietnamese restaurant (sorry folks, it's not Green Lemongrass XD) and ate lunch
Had to do some business-related activities with my mom and cousin who was in the sign industry
Came back home at about 3:20pm, and I didn't want to go to the gym later tonight, so I went early and chilled there for about an hour or two
Arrived home and didn't eat dinner. Regardless though, I still feel perfectly fine.

So this is what happened today. I normally can't do all those activities since I'd be completely drowsy all-day long, and I drove most of the day with just three fingers. Yes, I wasn't even concentrating for safety on the road....but not something insane like this)

Anyways, here are the pics for today's lunch!!

It was pretty good in terms of the food itself, but after trying out for a couple of times, I moved on and tried another dish which is my most favourite to order whenever I go to a Vietnamese Pho Restaurant. Other than Pho, that is one dish that you should eat. Highly recommended.

For now, I'm just studying midterms, and I honestly shouldn't even be blogging like this until Thursday or so...Hope y'all have a good midterm/test or whatever school tries to beat you. Cheers!

Hello, and welcome back to my usual column of daily life (as you can check by clicking the 'daily life' corner at the bottom, thank you. =P)

Here, I'll recollect my memories from the foods that I've ate in a span of few weeks... Here it is!!

Ok this is from like 3-4 weeks ago, where we had some seafood feast going on with the celebration of b-day of my dad and all,so we had oytsters, scallops, shrimps, etc.

Yes, this is one of the dishes that I had, good for health, and it's actually pretty tasty.

Although, the oysters I had didn't really taste that great since it's raw, with the Korean side-dish called [Gochujang - 고추장] it actually tasted better than I thought...but I still don't like it so...=P

Remember, this was all cooked by my mom, and her amazing food skills.

What can I expect from a retired Hotel Chef that has a food license of Korean/Chinese/Japanese Cuisines? =) My mom cooks the best foods ever. <3

And this is the lunch that I ate about 2 weeks ago, something light...even though it's about 450 in calories that I had to burn off from the gym by rigorous biking, running, and treadmill-ing. It did fill up for some light snack that I haven't had for ages. xD

Does it look a lot, oh you bet it was a hell-a-lot. Is it enough? I guess so. Tasty? Damn straight.

Mind you, it wasn't just me, but it was with my entire family of 6 people sharing the all-you-can-eat sushi.

We also had green tea ice cream afterwards for about 2 scoops, and some scallops on top.

It was just amazing for a family lunch. And yes, that's what I just had about 2 hours ago. xD

I'm not eating dinner today either, this totally filled me up. That was the first place we ordered, and the size of the place decreased incrementally as the number of plates we ordered increased.

Would you find that big of a plate to be eaten by a family? Maybe. Ordering that much at once? Unlikely. Why? because our whole family starved dinner yesterday, and as soon as we ordered that, in about the span of 5-10 minutes, the entire plate was downright empty. Waiters and waitresses serving our food was quite surprised on the fact that even if it were to be 6 people, to be emptying that big of a plate in a matter of minutes. It was great, now I'm going to gym soon. I feel hyper somehow too. xD

Alrighty, so welcome back to Teekay's daily life corner. (Anything that's related to "moi", or anything else regarding my life status, can be found by clicking the "daily life" label as you can see below. Anyways, let's kick off with some daily random moments that I've experienced throughout this week:

1) I went inside my lecture, like usual.And another student sits at the end of the table corner. While there's really nobody sitting, I was unpacking my textbooks and a binder that contained all my notes. I was about to take out my pencil, but.........it's gone! So I thoroughly searched inside my bag, but the pencil case wasn't there. I quickly looked at the area, seeming like the girl next to me was busy, asked a female behind me for a pen. The thing is, that girl looked at me in a very wierd way while I was chatting with my friend on eBuddy through my cellphone. Then, the girl sitting next to me offered a free pen, she said she didn't need it. Right when I came back to my desk, I see my pencil case sitting right above my binder that I didn't look.

Now that was epic fail moment right there. How did I overcome? well, here it is.

I told that girl,

"Oh sorry, I don't need the pen anymore since my friend was going to attend the lecture with me, but he's on msn right now *shows my cellphone msn* and ditching 'cause he's not feeling well. He told me first that he'll be coming, but he didn't. So, thanks a lot, and sorry!! ^^;;; *hands over back the pen*"

............Even though I wasn't talking with my friend for that in the first place anyway.

2) I've been getting headaches here and there, even right now, and I don't feel well at all since I've been losing many chips (play money dudes, yes I'm no addict) in poker that I play from time to time with my friend, while doing my excel homework of historical constitutional dates that I have to note and memorize next week. With headache on my side, and not having to have an adequate dinner (since there really was nothing at all, just rice and craps. >_>) that I didn't eat at all, organizing my excel notes aren't going so well either. What a weekend I'm having.

3) I'm thinking of actually purchasing the entire Vocaloid figma/figure sets to finish up at least the major component characters from the VC family:

Miku / Kaito / Luka / Rin & Ren

This should be enough for me to finish up the 'collection' that I've abandoned for a while. I'll be ordering these slowly, no worries.

4) Now my cousin 'Steve' whose half-forcing me to go to the Gym, in this cold of a weather without a car that I have to walk for quite a mile there, is 'ordering' me to go. Hell no, without a car I'm not going. Since my dad's using the car to go to his friend's house for a drink, I guess I won't be going there today anyway.

With all these in my mind which are about to explode in any minute, don't push me to the limits please..this is one pressurizing pissed off day that I had without feeling mediocre with some painful headache I have no clue why. T_T (with =_= together).

Daily Entry...

Part I

Alrighty, so welcome to another entry since I had some time available before going to the gym and whatnot. Yesterday and today was a pretty hectic busy day...

1) Slept at 4:30am the day before trying to read my textbook,
2) Woke up at 9am on a Saturday to help family business
3) Finished at 12, totally worn out,
4) Went on to RadioTK (Yes those who know me, I operate a small internet radio station) to the Koreans who were wanting to listen to my selection of musics, and
5) Now I just ate dinner, and might go for a nap after this

Part II

So yeah..since I feel pretty drowsy right now, I might as well go for a nap before working out in the gym in an hour or so...I'm pretty satisfied with the workout that I've been doing in the gym since I lost 9 pounds in about a month doing cardiovascular exercises (running, jogging, cycling, etc.) I'm still holding the muscle training / resistance training till the end since that's not my real purpose. Gotta keep on continuing to work out at least 40-50 mins every single day trying to make myself fit. Also, by working out everyday, I feel that my breathing felt more comforable and sleep pattern has been improved from the past. Exercising, once you get the hang of it, it's generally fun. All you need is the motivation, and dedication.

Part III

Discussions regarding on my university progress...I like it.
I'm loving whatever Law courses I'm taking into right now, since that was originally my dream on becoming a lawyer (and have a great, GREAT interest in Criminal Law and many different cases underlying the theme, and thereof). Administrative Law and Business Law just doesn't fit my interest since that's not what I wanted to be. Human Rights course is as fun as eating an ice cream (well, as an expression...I cut down those long ago >_> ) as it usually deals with the Charter of Rights and Freedoms which is relatively easy. =P

I've been reading my textbook pretty much throughout the entire day...so many different course materials to read and cover with...it's not hard, just...tedious with about 150-170 pages that I need to finish by the end of next week. I've finished about 30% and will finish it by either tomorrow or Monday. xD

Alright, so since I finished ranting about my daily entry, there's really nothing else to say here other than the fact that I'm going to take a nap now.....

1) We were playing games at my friend's house (Matthew's), and at 11:56pm, we tried to turn on the TV, But Mike (The one who swears the most in the video; Mainland) turned off the power of the first TV.

2) We went to the second TV in the other room, but it was 11:59pm, and the screen wasn't in the right channel yet, but even before Matt tried to turn on the TV, the first one turned on

We all rushed to the first TV, and RIGHT WHEN MAINLAND WAS TRYING TO SAY FUCK, FU---- and we all yelled YEAAAAAHHHHHHH!!! (So his swear turned into a yell LOL)

...Sooo in the end we only saw the fireworks, and did not see the countdown.

And all the randomenss in the end. Epic Win + Epic Fail.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE I KNOW!! ^^=

And a happy new year while at it.

Purchased some Xbox 360 games that I might enjoy with my cousins and friends, which are:

1) Assassin's Creed II
2) Forza Motorsport 3
3) Call of Duty 4 : Modern Warfare 2

These games will keep them busy since I got them as a present and/or purchased it by myself with a huge discount available from either Best Buy / EB Games (Gamestop) / Future Shop. It's definitely worth it when you have families and friends coming over on a Christmas holiday to play games where they don't really have a console that's good enough to spend time while they're here in my room, other than fiddling around with mangas, anime DVDs and so on and so forth. xD

Also, I just realized that Christmas doesn't always need to be celebrated inside the house, we're bringing it outside. Yes, we're going to a buffet later tonight for some sushi/meet/beef/seafood/whatever delicatessen craving available in a nearby restaurant with high quality foods. I'm just excited by the fact that next year I can finally get a full G license to drive around without any restrictions if I pass the final examination in one go ...we'll see, since it's going to be in May. xD

Our family also purchased a new vehicle to drive around since our old one broke down with an engine error (it's been used for over 10 years, so...yeah lol) which I love it since I chose it; 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer. That's right folks. 2010. The new year edition (?). It's brand new, never used, and it includes a CVT Variable Transmission so that I don't need to worry about shifting gears in a manual which I'd love to do it, but my parents can't + will never let me purchase a manual. Here's the thing. The standard is a 5-gear manual transmission. But my parents changed it into a CVT Automatic (INVECS-III; search it up in Mitsubishi website) since my mom doesn't know how to drive a manual, my dad does but he's too lazy to do it. For our convenience that was the decision.

More to come, with me playing more of Tales of Vesperia, and I love JRPGs. Eternal Sonata had impressed me enough with its gameplay and its storyline, I knew Bandai-Namco Games would never disappoint me with whatever JRPGs they produce into a masterpiece. ^_^

Exam Prep...

1) First exam coming up this week (date omitted for privacy purposes)

2) Second exam coming up next week (date omitted for privacy purposes)

First exam is much harder than the second, therefore by the process of prioritizing schedules, I should be studying much more for the first exam. However, things don't look so bright on the first since I haven't really studied much about the material that is covered in the exam. >_>;; (Multiple-choice style)

Second exam is relatively much better than the first, but it's more of an essay-paragraph type of exam where I get to pick 8 questions out of 10, and answer each as a paragraph format. The merit about this exam is that I have a good chunk of ideas to be studied in the past, therefore I can actually try ace-ing this..xD

I don't know though, but it seems like I'm weak in terms of multiple-choice tests which are supposedly easier than the essay-paragraph exams because of the important fact that the answers are there for you; you just have to choose one from the rest. Which one's true and which one's not when there's a vast similarity in terms of the answers that attempt to confuse your mind? For the first exam, there's about 80 multiple choice tests.....and it's not easy....

Now, mind you that my degree of understanding and comprehension in terms of grammar and sentence structure of the Canadian English aren't at-par at ~~skeptical K's~~. Neither my essay level and vocabulary selection are as wide and competitive as his. However, it's better to know 1 than none at all; the information/data that I've been learning and gathering from the past lectures of the second exam were personally more comprehensible/understandable than the first. Maybe because I just don't have interest or far less since the second course is much interesting than the first. Oh well, as long as I can pass the first and ace the second, I guess that evens out.

We'll see though....we'll see....I'm probably going to be in the library most of the time; with allotted time everyday for gym and daily salvation of basic human survival.

On a side note: I've lost about 3-4lbs in about a week or so. Which is not bad...I'll try to intensify some of my exercise routines to consistently lose some pounds..if not, more. lol
I'm so glad that exercising in the gym and working out really did improve my lifestyle; not only I feel more motivated to exercise nowadays with a group of people already exercising in the gym or have begun alongside me, but it's more of I look at myself in the mirror and get surprised on how better I look. Also, when your in a mid-urgent to very-urgent situations, I had experience just a few days ago on how fast I could run in a prolonged period of time where in the past I was out of breath in a matter of seconds, now I can actually run and jog to accomplish the goal that I wanted. That's really whats getting me motivated also. ^^

Yes, this will be the main highlight of my story including some more. Here we go!!

[Part I]

Okies, so I'm currently working out in the gym, registered for a 6-month pass yesterday with my cousin who also has the intention of working out, for two completely, separate/different reasons:

1) For me - It's basically losing weight, I've been out of shape for such a long time, can't stand anymore, now I'm going every single day (except the days where I sleep over at my friend's house) for at least 1 hour. I'm not in the position to be building muscles, or being a bodybuilder of some sort. Just getting into shape for a normal healthy lifestyle like K's or W's whose been in shape for a very, very long time due to their high metabolism. >_> lucky bastards.

2) For my cousin - he's way too thin, somewhat along the lines of the ~~two rascals~~ mentioned above, and he's basically building muscles. Not a bodybuilding muscle, but up to a certain extent so that he can actually take over someone at his size without having to runaway. He has guts alright, more than me. =P

Basically, how it turns out really comes down to one's motivation and dedicated they are into making it, but I'll make sure that I'll be decreasing the overall measurements of my clothes, as well as eating less and healthy. Like how the ~~two rascals~~ are.

Finally, my camera lenses of 1+, 2+ and 4+ delivered and was present in my mailbox, so I took it, flew over to my room, and gave it a try...it was over my expectations on how much it can precisely zoom and take crystal clear photoshoots of the clarity that I wanted in a very short to minimal distance range (±3cm or less). Micro/macro shots ftw <3

So here it is folks....more coming up after I come back from the gym and tire myself out...or maybe tomorrow 'cause I don't wanna post two a day. xD

New Earphones.

Alrighty, so Teekay finally decided to buy earphones. If you would like to know more, please be my guest. xD

Ok, so the new earphones I got is called:

[ Ultimate Ears Super.Fi 5 Pro (sf 5pro) ]

The one I was wanting to get was:

[Audio Technica Headphone ATH-ESW9 ]

So, the major difference between the two is basically, one's an open-dymanic headphone which allows you to use it anywhere around the area, with crystal-clear sound from indoors, while having an open sound (air-leaking, noise-leaking) sound from the outdoors while the 5pro's can isolate the sound to literally not let you hear "isolating" the outdoor sound practically anywhere, including indoors while producing rich-deep bass sound (which is what I love).

Also, there were so many fakes on eBay for the esw9's, so I decided not to bother purchasing one due to the fact that it's not worth it when I'm bringing it outdoors most of the time, including Libraries, Subways or Buses which I need noisy sounds to be cleared such as sirens, airplanes, or even a construction working (note that these are not necessarily going to be present in the areas mentioned above - ~~just like SOMEONE I KNOW WHO WILL BE PICKY ON THIS =.= -~~ but it happens often in the urban area I live.)

Besides that, I value sound quality, and since I've sold my old PRO 700's (picture link here) not due to the fact that the sound quality is exceptional, but it's way too heavy for my neck to withstand 350g every single day for about a year to be brought outdoors. >_> No wonder I could practically wear any headphones and not feel heavy about it at all haha.

So yeah, the price is pretty good since I bought the product in CAD way below the price that it sells for USD without shipping, and is currently waiting for it. Dual-drivers inside the ~~"bud"~~ (I hate using the word 'bud', but earphones sound more respectful. Buds sound more like an insult.) ahem 'earphones', which is also currently being used by Linkin Park, Metallica and Aerosmith + many other professional artists, I had no doubt of its exceptional quality and build.

Hope for this product to come and greet me in front of the door soon, I'll be hovering around in youtube for some good musics for you guys.. laters now. =P

Ok so I know that writing like this will take a while, but I don't wanna turn on my comp at this time nor want to since its just going to be one simple note.

I don't know but I feel really nervous and have really no clue why. I haven't even started my essay project yet thats given about 3 days ago and studied about 80% of the course material that will be tested next week and there's still plenty of time to study but for some no reason i'm nervous.

Is this the result of having a busy lifestyle that if one's freetime and has nothing to do it makes oneself automatically nervous as an instant reaction to fear of free time, where your feeling gets strained to the fact of "supposably to be working on something productive" or is there an unknown factor that is restraining us from even knowing so...?

Maybe we are pawns of being restricted and being in such a workaholic environment where we take a very busy lifestyle as a very natural phenomena, whereas its sole scheduling was truly based on something we voluntarily (maybe involuntarily due to being pushed and forced to do so and etc. various reasons) Chose to do so.

Fearing for no reason at all...is very strange...even if I keep striving for an answer why...it just doesn't come up easily... Just why...

Hello and greetings to all my readers for my seldom-updating (maybe frequent if I have anything interesting to write on..) blog, sorry for the long waited update =)
Now let's look at the details of what happened to me for the past 2-3 days.

1) Phone Contract Transfer

This has been getting on me the most, because I had about 2 years of contract left with Telus, and since they are on a CDMA network (which means that their phones are always going to be Telus-certified, Telus-purchased phones. No other phones purchased in other couriers such as Rogers, or internet-bought unlocked phones such as eBay or Amazon will not work. Why? because they use a SIM card which contains all the data of the user information, while Telus does not. their phones have SIM cards integrated into the phone so that they can make profit by selling oldass phones that they "force" you to use.)

Therefore, it took me 2 weeks to find, thanks to the website http://CellClients.com to be uploaded of my cellphone contract and the phone for the user who wants to take over with incentives. And there we go, I finally found! I also promised myself not to get into any contracts anymore, but switching over to Rogers, I had to get at least ONE year contract (which is better than nothing, and hey! Think about it. I have great reception with Rogers so far, and the phone's working unbelievably well, so why not one year contract better than the 3 year term? =p besides, SIM card can be interchangeable with most global phones available on the web worldwide, so I love it <3) to be able to use the phone practically anywhere I want. It even has perfect reception in the basement areas, and some subway stations as well!! ^_^ GSM FTW! (well, HSDPA later on, but oh wells WAY WAY better than the CDMA networks xDD)

2) Blabbermouth about my new phone =) Sony Ericsson W995

My new phone W995 is awesome with different/various capabilities from taking a photoshoot using the CyberShot Camera that is attached with the SE phone itself at the back, and having three speakers (two at the top, one long speaker at the bottom) of the phone makes it look sexy as hell. The sound quality is amazing and the battery did not die even if I did listen to music for 3-4 hours today, and while on the bus I've been talking to friends from time to time, and having to take photoshots of about 40-60 including a couple of movie clips using the camera at a batterylife of 88% down to 24% when I came back home, was an amazing accomplishment that this phone really does have the style that I ever wanted!!

One thing that kinda sucks is that...Korean font isin't supported and I listen to a lotta Korean songs, and most songs that are in Korean have their own titles in their respective font...so I really don't know what to do...I'm still searching for it though..I hope I can find it soon. But think about it. This phone's been released about 3-4 months ago, and is still new. The phone got itself an update ONE DAY AGO BEFORE my cellphone activation LOLOL which I just updated about an hour ago from now...and sadly, all my voice recognition are gone e_e have to record that thing again..ugh.

Cellphone Exploration..

Ok, so let's look at some phones and their highlights as I welcome you, to the world of cellphones that made me decide over days and weeks of decision-making progress. Mind you, it is a VERY difficult progress.

Alright folks, so it made me decide to post another blog entry again, trying to decide on a cellphone. Most of my friends tell me to get something that's either: 1) Shiny 2) Something that would look awesome, cool in terms of design 3) Get something that's azn, imported not stupid locked phones 4) Something that I would utilize the most, 5) Something that is worth of its price. So, let's look at some of the particular models I've carefully selected to discuss this matter with the readers whose reading this blog right now. =]

1) Sony Ericsson C905i Unlocked

Price: Good Range
Hypersim Problems: None
Design: Very Good
Tech Spec Highlights: 8.1MP Camera + Video Recording
Negatives: High Battery Drainage, Very Bulky
Reception: Highly Stable
Overall, I think I can survive with the battery since in my other phone, the battery died in about 3-4 hours after having to recharge a spare; extended battery that I have right now. I'm used to having a few extra batteries handy, and at first it was pretty tedious to repeat the process, but I'm used to it now. SE is known for its design and quality, as many other of my friends had been using earlier versions/variations of this company's flagship model as you can see above so far.

2) Docomo Sharp SH-01a

Price: Expensive
Hypersim Problems: Possible; Hypersim MD and/or IMEX can reset + CPR
Design: Excellent, Very Light, Simple & Easy
Tech Spec Highlights: 8.1MP Camera + Video Recording + Facial Recognition / [GPS,TV, MMS, i-Appli (japan only)]
Negatives: Hypersim, Might lose Reception, CPR issues
Reception: Unstable; can drop occasionally

Come to think of it, this was on my main list, but if I can sweep more budget out of the first selection, then I'd definitely get this. But my problem is mainly about the CPR issue, and phone going dead, which means I have to reset the phone (all the contacts and dats are gone). So, I really need to consider between the design, and reception of the phone dying easily. Most Docomo/Softbank products are like that, my friend says. lol

3) HTC Touch Diamond 2 Black

Price: Very Expensive
Hypersim Problems: Possible,but not that I know of.
Design: Excellent
Tech Spec Highlights: 5.0MP Camera w/ Auto Focus, Touch Sensor, Data-worthy
Negatives: Hypersim, CPR issues, Fairly Bulky
Reception: Highly Stable

This phone if I ever had the opportunity, I'd soo purchase due to its excellent design, and the capabilities of what this phone can do. Unfortunately, the price is quite beyond my expectations, so I'd probably have to put this on hold, and even if I did acquire this phone, I'd probably be not using a data plan (maybe i would, but the monthly price would rise). It really depends on what purpose I use, so..it really depends on what phone I get that makes me choose the plan. Otherwise, nice camera and lots of capabilities. Just that it's a bit heavy..

4) Docomo Sharp SH906i Blue

If it weren't for the CPR Issue, I'd definitely go with this product. Why does most Japanese phones like Docomo/Softbank have this CPR issue that cannot ever be resolved due to their sudden loss of reception...*sigh*...I mean, I know it's an import phone from another country with limited capabilities in terms of tech and such but...it still looks like a phone for fobby people x_x and blue totally got me into it..

If it weren't for the price, compared to the C905, I'd definitely get it, but I already have a Cowon S9 (more info link here) and yeah....there's a gold model for this as well, which I'm also considering more than the black. Gold makes the design shine. Personally that's what I think. ^^ It's much more slim than the C905, and weighs lighter. C series is for the camera, W series is for music. So I guess it's either I sell my Cowon S9, and get this, or stick with C905 if I get to choose between the two from the same company.

So yeah, here are my selections folks, these were the ones that were in my mind the whole time. Selection over selection, decisions over decisions. Dilemma over dilemma, every day and night. So, judging by the fact that I refrain from hearing 'Just save up money and use whatever you got', my phone battery dies easily and its a 5-year old phone that my contract ends next month. And I'm moving from Telus to Rogers 'cause:

1) I can share with my mom's plan to make it cheaper
2) I totally cannot stand how Telus can't switch phones (not using SIM, it's integrated) and once your in a contract, you can never get it out; there's no such thing as a Cellphone Number Swap (in Rogers/Fido you can swap numbers and swap contracts, but it's impossible for Telus. I've called them before, client care about 4 times now to reconfirm. Assholes =.= they try to make you become their contract-slave. I highly regret for having it 3 years. If you understand what I mean.)
